Attending: Calvin, Migna, Imran, Renee, Erik, Alex

    AGENDA:

    1. CHRIST HOSPITAL

    2. G/S PHOTO ACTION UPDATE

    3. FINANCE UPDATE

    4. BLOG / MINUTES UPDATE

    5. MIAMI OWS UPDATE

    ANNOUNCEMENTS

    1. CHRIST HOSPITAL

-Calvin suggested we go to C/H and 'look around' and talk with employees and ask their input.
-Calvin also suggested we as OJC do a letter of support for the employees/nurses, etc.
-Erik and Calvin will work on language of letter for approval from OJC (with full inclusion from entire OJC body)

    2. G/S PHOTO ACTION UPDATE

-Erik explained that Kat contacted him and said to 'table' her suggested G/S action till she attends a meeting herself
-Migna and others concerned that no information/input coming forth - (We keep tabling for nothing?)
-Renee also concerned that person who suggested action should be present and/or send clear info
-Action tabled till Kat attends an OJC meeting again

    3. FINANCE UPDATE

-Calvin explained that we still have $243. in WePay account
-Migna reminded that Tues. April 3rd, our OJC full-detailed finance report is due for total transparency
-Group agreed we need the detailed WePay report
-Renee suggested that detailed finance report (non-WePay) be done in 'EXCEL'
-It was clarified and reiterated that we as OJC do NOT give any special funds or loans for personal benefits or gain.
All transactions of funds are to be by GROUP / GA approval and must be used for OJC actions and events ONLY

    4. BLOG / MINUTES UPDATE

-Migna reminded group that there are TWO separate lists of emails:
    a. an 'internal list' of frequent OJC GA attendees
    b. a 'Master list' or FULL OJC LIST of all emails

-Miguel emailed all involved a 'TEST' email and only a few responses
-Although only 5 members responded to Miguel's 'test' email, it was decided that many members do not respond, may not have seen, or maybe it went to their 'spam' file
-Archiving the OJC minutes is difficult as of right now - blog seems to be unstructured to do so
-Migna and Miguel are both trying to find solutions to email list and blog
-It was mentioned that Miguel could not be at OJC GA but we needed information
-Renee said to take into consideration peoples' donated time and that we should wait till April 3rd for some of the procedural solutions

    5. MIAMI OWS UPDATE

-Alex told of a video he posted to our f/b page explaining about a S.W.A.T. team busting into a private apartment (on a 'tip' of alleged gathering of firearms for use at Occupy protests) -at which an alleged OCCUPY activist lives in (in Miami). NO alleged weapons were found.

-Erik reminded that OWS movement had been under brutal attack and most of the major occupations have been shut down by brute force. We need to be mindful of possible false accusations to smear OJC and activists. We at OJC reject all illegal actions as was adopted by statement several GA's ago.
